With new manager, Dom Heath, in charge of his first league game, Cassies took control of possession and were the better side in a first half that saw little attacking threat from Haughmond.

Despite creating a number of clear chances, Cassies were frustrated to go in 0-0 at half time in this crucial game against another team struggling at the foot of the table.

​

Cassies took complete control in the second half with left back Poskitt crowning an impressive performance with two goals, both close range strikes and then Lee Chilton rounded off the 3-0 victory when Swingwood's pass beat the offside trap and Chilton went on to calmly side-foot past the keeper.

​

The new management team have galvanized the squad, and made some astute additions as Cassies climb out of the relegation zone and look to continue the momentum at home to Shawbury on Tuesday 8th November at Brinsford Lane.
