Wolverhampton Casuals are pleased to announce the signing of Charlie Oliver, who joins the Cassies from Wrens Nest. Charlie made his Cassies debut on Monday at Cheadle and his pace and directness was clear to see for all present making him an exciting player to watch in the coming weeks.

Dean: Charlie played for us against Wrens Nest in pre-season and, if I remember rightly, he smashed into everyone he could!

He’s been training on and off with us throughout the season, and it was always my intention to have a proper look at him when the opportunity came. He’s playing every week for Wrens Nest, so it’s important for us to do what’s right for Charlie as well.

On Monday night he showed enough personality and ability for us to want to have a proper look at him, and for him to have a look at us, over the next month.

Huge thanks to Jamie and everyone at Wrens Nest for allowing us to do that.

Charlie will come into Saturday’s Vase squad.

Welcome, Charlie!
