Following Saturdays 3-1 victory over Studley in the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Vase, the club have been advised at lunchtime today that in the First Round of the FA Vase Wolverhampton Casuals will play Southwell City at Brinsford Stadium on Saturday, the 10 October kick off 3 pm.

Southwell United after being given a bye in the First Qualifying Round like Casuals they earned their place in the First Round draw after a 2-1 win at home against South Normanton Athletic. In the First Qualifying Round they drew 1-1 with Leicester Saint Andrews, but progressed after winning 5-4 on penalties.

Southwell City currently play in the GCE Hire Fleet United Counties Football League Division One at Step 6 of the NLS and are currently in third place in the league after nine games with five wins and three draws.
