t wasn't long ago that our neighbours at Molineux Stadium were coining this phrase when they were in the mix for Champions League football in the Nuno Espirito Santo era.

Now, Wolverhampton Casuals start a dream of our own next week in the Second Qualifying Round for this seasons FA Vase. 626 teams from Steps 5 and 6 of the National League system began this journey, 190 were gone after the first qualifying round and 360 teams battle to join 76 teams already through to the First Round Proper.

This is a tough trophy to win. Cassies will have to win 8 consecutives ties to get to Wembley, then the 9th and final tie to win the competition.

First things first though, Studley from the Hellenic League stand in the way of a place in the First Round proper. After a 3-3 local derby draw on Saturday against Bilston, squandering a 3-1 lead in front of the highest crowd of the season, Cassies will be looking to return to winning ways.

The Wembley arch is a long way away, for all teams at this stage, but Rome was built one step at a time.
