Following Saturday’s good first outing against Rugby Town at Brinsford Stadium which ended in a 1-0 loss, both the Management Team and players took so many positive things from the game, despite the scoreline

Pre-season games are all about performance and building for the season, results don’t really matter, its all about the performance, both individually and collectively, as well as trusting the process that has been designed to hit the ground running on the opening day of the season, this year on 1st August.

Wolverhampton Casuals supporters and players don’t have to wait long for the next game, tomorrow evening they travel to Brierley Hill to play West Midlands Premier Division side Dudley Sports on the 4G pitch at The Dell Stadium in Brierley Hill, NOT at their usual Hillcrest Avenue home.

Last season Dudley Sports finished towards the lower reaches of the table for the second successive season, and this season after hanging up his boots club stalwart and long term captain Jamie Parker changes his playing shirt for a tracksuit in his new role as first team coach.

The clubs first pre-season friendly was last Tuesday evening at Wombourne All Stars which saw Sports suffer a heavy defeat, and yesterday they played Stourbridge Standard in their second pre-season game, no result could be found.

Tomorrows game is being played at The Dell Stadium, Bryce Road, Brierley Hill, DY5 4NE.
