The Midland Football League released the Premier Division fixtures on Thursday with the Casuals kicking off on home soil.

With the FA Cup Extra Preliminary round tie at Hinckley on 6th August, the first league match will be the following Saturday (13th) when Tividale make the relatively short trip to Brinsford Lane for the season opener.

​

A quick return to action at the Lane on the following Tuesday (16th) will see Lichfield City make the trip and, with Saturday 20th August a blank Saturday due to the potential FA Cup Preliminary round ties, the first away league match scheduled is the 27th away to Whitchurch Alport.

 

The month ends with a Bank Holiday visit from Stourport Swifts on Monday 29th.

 

The first derby fixture is on Saturday 17th September when we visit step 5 debutants Darlaston Town (1874) and our first meeting with AFC Wulfrunians will be at Castlecroft on Tuesday 11th October.

 

The return fixture with Wulfs will be the final game before Christmas, Saturday 17th December, with our Boxing Day opponents on Tuesday 27th December being Shfinal Town.

 

We open 2023 at Romulus on Monday 2nd January 2023 before hosting Stone Old Alleynians on Saturday 7th January which will be the last game at the Lane until the return derby with Darlaston Town (1874) on Saturday 4th March with 5 successive league matches on the road inbetween!

 

Our Easter Monday fixture is away to Tividale on 10th April with us scheduled to end the season with two home games against Whitchurch Alport and Market Drayton Town on the following two Saturdays (15th & 22nd).

All fixtures will be subject to change due to cup matches and postponements so we will keep you informed of any changes to the fixture list as the season progresses.
